Main uses: hexaphenoxycyclotriphosphazene (PZ) has a unique ring structure composed of P and N flame retardant elements. It is a flame retardant with the characteristics of high thermal stability, high oxygen index (LOI) and low smoke release performance. It is widely used as fireproof and flame retardant materials and self extinguishing materials.
Typical application: flame retardant polypropylene with PZ and magnesium hydroxide. When the mass fraction of PZ is 15%, the oxygen index of the blend increases from 23.5% to 33.5%, and the elongation at break and impact strength increase by nearly 20%. When the mass fraction of PZ was 5%, the carbon residue rate of the blend reached 40% and the oxygen index increased to 36%.
